Kevin Xavier a.k.a Kay X [real name Kenechukwu Kevin Xavier Ezeaniekwe] is an artist who was born and raised in Port Harcourt Nigeria. The 2nd child from a family of five. He grew up in a world of musical diversity, listening to artists like Michael Jackson, The Temptations, Bobby Brown, Tim McGraw, Norman Brown, Patty Obasi etc. His parents being strong music aficionados, he started rapping at the age of eleven although then he never took it serious or thought to hone his skills. Inspired and influenced by artists like Swizz Beatz, Dr Dre & Timbaland, He started composing instrumentals in 2003, a skill which he is well known for among his circle. Since then he has had a plethora of production credits, few which are notable. He also has a couple of features under his belt. His sound is a fresh blend of contemporary afro, pop and HipHop.
