Kayla Air

Kayla Air spent the first three years of her life in Bronx, New York until the tragic death of her father. She then moved to Valley Stream, Long Island where she resided until she was ten. Due to family hardship, Kaylas mom decided to relocate to Georgia where she could receive support from her parents and family. Kayla Air would now be surrounded by her mothers parents who were both heavily into music in the 60s and 70s. She realized early on she was blessed with the gift of their musical talents. Kayla Air is the granddaughter of Thelma Bruno also known as Thelma Wilson of The Bruno Sisters. Her grandfather, Rufus Cromer aka Drop Shot was apart of Atlantas favorite and famous groups Liberations and The Tams alongside Tamika Tiny Cottle-Harris dad from 1964 to 1973. Rap Artist T.I.s wife, Tamika Tiny Cottle-Harris also followed in her fathers footsteps and was apart of the group Xscape. The Tams were famous for their hit single Be Young Be Foolish But Be Happy which is currently available on iTunes and still performed by the groups newest generation till this day.

As you can see, music is in Kayla Airs genes. After completing two years full time in a Georgia college she decides to go part time to give music, which is her first love, a shot. Kayla Air is currently in college to receive a Marketing Degree. Kayla Air signed with Priceless Production Company in Atlanta, Georgia who has managed and is responsible for the success and gold sells of several well known artist today. Kayla Air's new single "What's A Girl Like Me To Do?" is a woman's anthem thats currently a fan favorite on ReverbNation while climbing the BDS radio charts. The single was inspired by Model Amber Rose, wife of Wiz Khalifa, who believes women shouldnt blame other women for their mans infidelity. Whats A Girl Like Me To Do is currently available on iTunes.
