""Incredible""

The way that music from all over the world was meshed together was incredible, and the incorporation of each members ethnic background was really fun to watch and even better to listen to!

Bio

As legendary Grateful Dead crew chief and author Steve Parish says, "I will state it simply: if you are not into the magic music of KAZAMOZE you are missing one of the joys of life." KAZAMOZE is knocking down borders with acoustic roots and world rock sound flavored in Latin and eastern styles.

KAZAMOZE came together in 2006 for what was supposed to be a one-time gig at the Wild Iris Festival in Mendocino County. But the chemistry and feel of the band was too much to deny. Each with diverse musical backgrounds of their own, Yousef, Tomanonymous, Dru and Rami continued on to create a sound that is uniquely KAZAMOZE. The sound continued to develop and the shows matured over the next couple of years. KAZAMOZE finished their debut studio album in 2009.

KAZAMOZe released their second record “Rooftop Flyer” during the spring 2011. The band has evolved and refined their sound with tighter, transcending tunes while they still embrace and comment on the world around them.

Adding to the live show in 2011 was Roxanne Olivia on accordion, flute and hand percussion, which culminated in the collaboration on yet another record, "Box Candy", and being included on the annual "Accordion Babes" calendar and associated compilation CD.

KAZAMOZE has been performing throughout the Bay Area at private events, wineries, live venues and outdoor festivals, including Ashkenaz, Petaluma Art Center, Rivertown Revival, Apple Blossom Festival, Windsor Earth Day and Wellness Festival and Wild Iris Festival among others. KAZAMOZE has also been spreading sound through interviews and live performances on radio (KRSH, KRCB, KOWZ, KWIN), online and via live shows, gaining a wide spread audience.

KAZAMOZE: World Rock that grooves. World Rock that creates good times. Music that gets people up and dancing.
