Kazhmere

The pensive Kazhmere may not be a man of many words, but that doesn’t hold the gifted artist back from communicating his voice through his music. While this talented Vancouver born singer poses reserved, don’t be fooled, despite his perpetual modesty, his gifted voice showcases just the opposite. Appropriately enough, as his Polish namesake suggests, Kazhmere roots from the Slavic term for “King”, as he embarks on this next chapter in his climb of musical hierarchy.

Kazhmere believes he’s just “scratching the surface” and there’s so much more waiting for him to create.
His melodic tones and skill for guitar allow him to create a voice he’s able to express with rare articulation, whereas in other forums don’t seem as natural to him. Kazhmere allows that music is his best friend. Whatever happens, he always has that, and no one can ever take that away from him.

The importance of expressing his thought provoking and emotional resonance is for himself, but realizes “what’s the point if it just sits on your desk? Where’s the value in that”? He believes at the end of the day what he produces is ultimately for others, and if his expressions can be enjoyed by at least one ear, then he’s happy.
As authentic and vulnerable as his music is he believes in living honestly and being true to oneself, which is evidently conveyed in his music. Constantly reminding himself and living reminiscently of, Kazhmere loves a Latin quote that loosely translates to “You don’t lay your heart on the line, unless it be torn to pieces”, which is exactly what his music transmits.

Kazhmere is signed with Vancouver based AMP Records and is excited with the release of his new Album I’m An Island, featuring his hit single Getting Out Alive which will be available Fall 2013.
