K. Barnes has always been a dedicated and devoted member of the body of christ. After going thru years of tests and trials, God has finally released her to share her story with the world. With the help of other local singers/musicians, K. Barnes has brought a new urban perspective to the traditional contemporary Gospel Industry. Being led by such influences as MaryMary, Kirk Franklin, The Clark Sisters, and CeCe Winans(to name a few) K. Barnes uses life experiences to bring her own style of music. Her main goal is to reach the streets and save a broken generation.
