At age 14, KBRAY started to teach himself how to play the guitar. It was something he knew he loved from the moment he started learning. He was in a choir all throughout high school until 2005. In 2004 he started an experimental rock band called Chimera Twilight (www.myspace.com/chimeratwilight). Chimera Twilight released a self-titled EP on iTunes in 2006 and the adaptation EP was released on iTunes in 2009. The band played local gigs, most notably: Naperville Rib Fest, Vans Warped Tour 2010, Mobfest 2010 @ The Metro. Chimera Twilight also did mini tours in the Midwest until 2009 & Played sold out shows at Subterranean & Beat Kitchen in Chicago. Meanwhile, KBRAY was enrolled at Columbia College Chicago majoring in Music Business Arts Entertainment Media Management.

In 2011 He was rewarded the Featured Producer on Production Market Place Worldwide two weeks in a row, which he found to be an amazing accomplishment. All of the music he creates is self-produced. Up All Night is the first release on Island Def Jam Digital/Si1Publishing under the alias KBRAY, which dropped on Valentine’s Day 2012. Inspirations include  Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind & Fire, The Isely Brothers, Drake, Jay-Z and Kanye West.
