Keegan "Seoul" Loye

Keegan "Seoul" Loye is a performance poet from Grand Rapids Michigan, and has been performing at regional and national venues since 2007. Keegan combines the raw emotion of words and the theatrics of an actor with the hope to enlighten all those who witness his performance. Keegan has won numerous Regional slams including Zulu Nation's "Speak and Destroy" Poetry Slam, and "The Point is the Poetry" Competition. In addition to competing Keegan also helps co-host Grand Rapids longest running Open Mic "Smokin' Spoken Word" as well as holds a bi-monthly slam "Word Up! Poetry Slam". Finally Keegan has featured at numerous colleges, community centers, public schools, and churches with the hope to help others find their own voice while on the journey to grow with his own.
