KEEP
KEEP, a four piece band from South Florida, defines mainstream rock by writing original songs that give the backbeat of what is going on in music today, with of course, insanely memorable hooks. Keeps music has an insatiable appeal and reflects the times of their lives, the ups and downs, and lifes growing in a way anyone can relate to. They use the ever changing fluctuations of pop music as a vehicle to drive their momentum to continuously write and produce new music, expand their song writing, and orchestrate rock with a pop attitude.
KEEP is the immediate bond formed when front man Mike Pashalion pitched his vocals on a song written by Joe Boettcher, lead guitar, called All The Dreams. Influenced by great song writers, like Desmond Child and Neil Diamond, they focused on writing original songs that would be catchy, poppy, and current. Over the years, Keeps fan base has grown steadily. Their appeal is apparent in some notable achievements. Keep received subsequent airplay on over 50 stations on the east coast including Texas after a 9 week Radio Campaign of their EP Tiny Lights, they entered and won as National Winners of Ed McMahons 'Next Big Star' talent search with over 50,000 votes in the Rock Category, and sold over 2000 copies of their album TINY LIGHTS on the first leg of their first national tour playing with acts Sound Device and Soul Bent.
Keep produced and recorded their latest and 3rd Album, Live Without, musically reflecting the times and lifestyles with emo-pop influences of music like Matchbox 20 and Keanne. Keep toured the East Coast, with Live Without, getting warm responses and packed houses at places like CBGBS.
Now gunned with a line up that was long awaited with power drummer Merrick Crittenden (Resistance) and Carmen Denofa (played with Dwight Yokum, session work with Modern Alis, and hit solo project in the 90s called Mello) thumping his delicious bass tones, they are currently working on their 4th Album with Alan Makie of AMZ Records in South Florida. They are definitely influenced by the new movement of music that is more upbeat and less serious and plan to incorporate that sound into their new album.
Keep is signed with Statute Records in California. Their single Perfect Mistake, produced by Shaun Groves in Atlanta, GA, is receiving subsequent airplay on Clear Channel and College Radio Stations throughout North America.
