"Up and Coming: Keep The Change"

This weeks “Up and Coming” feature is Keep the Change, an unsigned pop/punk band consisting of Will Inns (Lead vocals/bass), Matt Williams (Guitar/Vocals), and Tim Sillars (Drums/Vocals). The band quotes their influences as Green Day, Blink 182, All Time Low, and others. I seen these influences before actually listening to any of the music, and as a fan of all of those bands, I was getting excited about what was to come.

That brings us on to a track which was recently uploaded to Keep the Change’s official facebook page. The track, titled “Silence”, is a powerful pop/punk anthem that I’m sure will impress you; as it did impress me! Bio

Keep the Change. The next generation of pop
punk and they’re already making their name
known. They’ve been together less than a year
and have already played an opening slot at the
o2 academy in Birmingham, got to the Semi Finals of The Battle of The Bands and The Live and Unsigned Regional Finals.

Having met at the beginning of 2011 at Stratford College, the three piece pop punk band came together when tasked to write 5 original tracks. Seeing how well they worked together as musicans, they decided to start a band. Since then they have perfected the art of writing new material and now have over 10 original songs written, some of which feature on their demo CD.

It’s not just songwriting Keep The Change do well, they also know how to perform. They own the stage and keep audiences entertained and involved in their live performances.
Their on stage abilities are something they are proud of and see it as their strongest point, and since hitting the studio to record their demo they feel it has bought them closer
together making their live performances even stronger.

In the short time they have been together they have played such places as Cox’s Yard in Stratford, Prince of Wales in Leamington, The Flapper in Birmingham and several festivals such as The Evesham Balloon Festival and Leamington
Summer at the Stand.
