Kei Sto

Kei Sto aka Kei Stoakland The Oakland Ace, born Jamar Keith Stovall was raised in the tough streets of Oakland, CA. At just the age of 2 his father (Keith Stovall) was shot and killed. In memory of his father Jamar chose the stage name Kei Sto. With the support of his close childhood friend Young Byrd, Kei Sto hit the ground running in 2006 with his first mixtape entitled Made in Oakland. During a 2006 recording session Kei Sto was asked to sign a studio wall. Kei Sto signed the wall “Kei Stoakland” and from that day on the alias Kei Stoakland has stuck. In 2008 Kei Sto started his own independent recording label “Mic Benefit Music” again named in memory of a late relative of his (cousin Michael “Mike Benefit” Branch). In 2010 Kei Sto moved his family to Dallas, TX where he is becoming very popular on the hip hop scene and has been ranked as high as 18th amongst thousands of hip hop artist by Reverb Nation. Kei Sto's music is fueled by his life's experiences along with the attitude and mind state of the streets.
