Singer-songwriter
Keith Jones likes to defy musical convention. From his first album release
"Year To Year" to 2008 single releases "On My Horizon” and “Long
Time Comin” Jones moves effortlessly from heartfelt ballads to songs with a New
Country edge. The result is a strikingly original sound all his own, setting
him apart from the pack.

While
other artists often choose convention over the creative, Jones refuses to choose
anything but the latter. His unique and multi-influenced style is inspired by
life, love and the natural world. He was born in Jersey in the Channel Islands
and picked up his first guitar at the age of five. By the time he turned 10 he
had written his first song and given his first public performances. By his
teens Jones began to appear on television and radio, quickly becoming a local
star.

As
the years progressed Jones began taking his singing and songwriting to a higher
level artistically. To date Jones has written and recorded over 200 songs, even
gaining a review by legendary Beatles producer Sir George Martin. He was
managed by New York company Countdown Entertainment during 2003-2004. His
credits include having some of his songs published in the United States and extensive
airplay in Europe, including Belgium and The Netherlands. He also received
solid airplay on Ison Live Radio (Australia) for over a year and, subsequently,
airplay worldwide. He has worked with Australian Music Marketing Abroad (AMMA)
and has appeared twice in the MIDEM Issues of “A n’ R” Artist, Repertoire and
International Licensing (2005 and 2008). During 2008 he appeared as a featured
artist with his singles “On My Horizon” and “Long Time Comin” on BBC Regional Radio
stations across the UK. The singles also received airplay on Independent Radio
and internet radio stations up and down the country. The songs are both available
for download on iTunes and all major online stores and were released on Jones’
own label “K J Recordings.”

Jones
produced a new 12 song album “Road To Freedom” in his own studio during 2012 and
this was released on iTunes and other online stores on the

6th
of December the same year.

In
2013 he attended MIDEM to promote his new album and as a result of an offer
made by Hollywood based producer Shele Sondheim of CSM Words and Music.
Sondheim offered him recording sessions in Nashville with top session, Grammy
Award-winning musicians including Brent Mason of “The Nashville Players.” He
also met with top music industry “Super Lawyer” Bernard Resnick and with CEOs
of record companies (most notably 335 Records based in Nashville) as well as
publishers and top music licensing companies from around the world.

Later
in 2015 he will be recording 6 of his songs and a DVD with Nashville based producer
Buddy Hyatt (ex TOTO) using the same top session musicians. The songs and DVD will
be recorded in the legendary studio The Sound Emporium where the current TV
series of “Nashville” is filmed.
