Although we are not perfect, we can strive to be Godly examples to others that share similarities with our lives and the experiences of it. Through my music I want those that are struggling with life's issues, to know that “I feel the same way you do”.

Biography

Keith Alexander Jordan Jr. was born and raised in Kings Mountain, NC. From the moment God formed him in the belly, the calling that is placed on his life has been quite clear. As a child he began playing drums and singing in church with his family which was only the beginning of his ministry. As he grew up to be a man, he began to venture into other aspects of music. Before completing high school he mastered the ability to make beats through computer software programs and went on to Communication of Arts at the Digital Circus in Raleigh, NC to major in music engineering and add to his repertoire. After his experience at The Digital Circus, he began to work with other local artists to create albums and mix tapes under the stage name Alex J. While working with secular artists and running from his divine purpose in life, Alex J realized that it was time to walk in his calling and come back to honor the man to which all praise is due. Incorporating his gift with the desire to help youth, especially young men, with God’s help evolved the movement of “God’s Gang”: a desire to demonstrate how you can “wild out” for Christ. He is now on a mission to spread the word and give God a radical praise. Although he is not perfect, he is striving to be a man of God and an example for others that share similarities with his life and the experiences of it because he “feels the same way you do”. With Philippians 4:13 as his motto, he continues to embrace the next dimension as God opens up doors from new jobs to new lyrics, because if God said it then it will be done. So “put your G’s up, cuz this is God’s Gang”!
