Do What We Can

“Do What You Can” Lyrics & Music by Keith D. Borden

Think of that young boy-
Think of that girl balled up in pain- and crying

Think of the warm times-
Good health with a sane mind someone’s not-as lucky

We’ve got to do our part to help with one another
And it’s up to us to help with our brother!

Chorus:

Do what you can-to help our fellow man
(lead: ad lib)
Do what you can-to help our fellow man
(lead: ad lib)
musical interlude
Children are dying-
Please hear what I’m praying, not just what I’m saying
Don’t hesitate-

Give like there’s no time-
Remember that life’s not so sublime-
When you’re hurting!

We’ve got to do our part to help with one another
And it’s up to us to help with our brother!

Chorus:
Do what you can-to help our fellow man
(lead: ad lib)
Do what you can-to help our fellow man
(lead: ad lib)
(repeat) musical interlude
