Annual Music Fundraiser returns to Hollywood starring
Keith Borden with special performances by Broadway Vets
Tracy Nicole Chapman, Armelia McQueen, Clent Bowers and Showtime at the Apollo co-host Kiki Shepard

Singer-Actor, Keith Borden returns to The Knitting Factory in Hollywood (Main Stage) for the 5th Annual “Cabaret of Hope” benefiting Shane’s Inspiration on Sunday, December 3rd at 6:30pm.

In addition to his own incredible talents, this year Keith will be joined by special guest performers from stage, screen and television including Broadway stars Tracy Nicole Chapman (Caroline or Change), Armelia McQueen( Ain’t Misbehavin), Clent Bowers (Cats), Showtime At the Apollo TV Co-host Kiki Shepherd, and many more.

Keith received national acclaim in touring musical productions of Momma, Don’t and Oh Lord, What Now? and has performed with superstars like Melba Moore, Patti Labelle, The Winans, Peabo Bryson, and Roberta Flack as well as opening for Ceci Peniston. He has appeared in the L.A. productions of Bert & Eddie and Floyd Collins. Keith created, produced, wrote and starred in the award winning critically acclaimed radio soap opera In My Father’s House. He has performed musically at B.B. King’s House of Blues, The Cinegrill , the world famous House of Blues and before an audience of over 10,000 at the Bright Lights of L.A. holiday celebration along with Melissa Gilbert, Bob Saget, Brad Garrett and Caroline Rea.

Keith is thrilled to be singing for such a wonderful cause. Shane’s Inspiration is a non-profit organization that develops universally accessible playgrounds for children of all abilities. Helping thousands of children each year, Shane’s Inspiration builds common ground between children with disabilities and their able-bodied peers replacing fear, uncertainty and trepidation with acceptance, understanding and friendship.

On Saturday, April 17, 2004, the soulful sounds of multi-talented singer/actor Keith Borden will be featured in the “3rd Annual CABARET OF HOPE” a musical journey of love and inspiration benefiting Starlight Children's Foundation. The show begins at 6:30pm on the main stage at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, 7021 Hollywood Blvd.

“This is my third L.A. concert benefiting Starlight and it’s an honor to once again lend my voice to such a worthwhile organization”, says the singer who has performed in various venues with such superstars as Patti Labelle, The Winans, Peabo Bryson, Roberta Flack and Melba Moore. Keith’s television appearances have included E.R., recurring episodes of The X Files, Movie Stars and co-host of B.B. King’s Gospel Musical Explosion. He has performed musically at B.B. King’s House of Blues, the world famous House of Blues, the legendary Cinegrill in Hollywood, Don’t Tell Mama in NYC, The Famous Fox Theater in St. Louis, Mo, The Beacon Theatre in NY, and before an audience of over 10,000 along with Melissa Gilbert and Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), and Caroline Rhea (The Caroline Rhea Show), at the Bright Lights of L.A. celebration. He achieved national acclaim when he toured with such shows as “Mama Don’t” & “Oh Lord, What Now?” Most recently, he opened for CeCe Peniston. After experiencing Keith’s heart wrenching performance in San Diego last month, FOX TV News Entertainment Anchor Fred Saxon said “Keith Borden delivers a powerful and passionate performance. He’s a true super talent.” His new song “Do What You Can”, was chosen for The Frankie Munoz Hoopla TV special, now airing on Fox Sports.

Under the musical direction of famed writer/composer/producer Bob Esty, this incredible show will also feature the amazing and mystical talents of renowned magician, Adam Grace, as well as America’s Favorite Fast Talker and the voice of Hollywood Squares, John Moschitta, Jr. The evening will run the musical gamut from classics like Moon River to show tunes to R&B.

"Singers Unite for "Blessings""

On June 17, BLESSINGS premiers at the Japan American Theatre in downtown Los Angeles as part of Lamp Community’s annual fundraiser. Along with composer Darien Martus, lyricist Kearns was commissioned by Lamp to create an evening of theatre that sheds light on the emotional terrain that is known as Skid Row by zeroing in on the lives of some of the area’s denizens who have turned their lives around. Almost entirely sung, BLESSINGS will feature a cast of performers who are committed to Lamp’s mission of healing including Chloe Webb, Ron Dennis,Keith Borden, Bonnie Franklin, Scotch Ellis-Loring, and Stephanie Zimbalist. Keith has appeared in national touring musical productions including “Momma Don’t!”, and “Oh Lord ,What Now?, and recently co-starred in the LA Premiere of “Floyd Collins”, as well as the new stage musical, "Bert n Eddie". His voice was recently heard on a mazda commercial as well being heard on a few episodes of The ABC Soap "Passoions. He appeared in the independent film " A Star Under The Bridge",as well as "The Dancing Beast." He has shared the stage with artists like Melba Moore, Patti Labelle, The Winans, David Peaston, The Clark Sisters, Peabo Bryson, & Roberta Flack, to name a few. He recently opened for Ceci Peniston.

Through “Keith Borden’s Radio Theater”, he wrote, narrated, and starred in his award winning popular radio soap opera “In My Father’s House”. Keith has also hosted his own radio talk shows and has been featured in various commercials & voiceovers. He recently performed on The Fox Morning News in San Diego to rave reviews. His music was featured nationwide on over 40 markets on The Joey Reynolds Radio Show in NY. He was a guest co-host on for the “Jo Jo Wright Show” on Los Angeles’s super radio station, KIIS FM in Hollywood.

His television experience includes E.R., Movie Stars, The Michael Richards Show, three episodes of The X-Files and B.B.King’s Gospel Musical Explosion as one of the hosts.
