The best kept secret in music

Press

The song's melody has some wonderfully curvy twists and turns. The lyric is a deeply emotional mine field. With his heart in his throat, Bryant negotiates both masterfully. This deserves massive air play.

(Review Of "That's Just The Way We Do It 'Round Here)
I have long admired this guy’s vocals. This time around, his muscular tenor wails on a terrific redneck rocker. Its fire and energy are more than matched by clever wordplay. Play this.

S+S MACK Records Opens Doors in Nashville
Former Little Rock, Arkansas radio station executive and station owner, Steve Freeman (WAI Radio, KMVK Radio, Arkansas Priority Radio Network), has announced the launch of a new record label, S+S Mack Records (pronounced SS Mack).

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) September 20, 2006 -- Former Little Rock, Arkansas radio station executive and station owner, Steve Freeman (WAI Radio, KMVK Radio, Arkansas Priority Radio Network), has announced the launch of a new record label, S+S Mack Records (pronounced SS Mack). The label, which will have offices in Nashville and Little Rock, has signed flagship artist Keith Bryant, whose three-year relationship with Lofton Creek records produced the Billboard-charted single “Ridin’ With The Legend” in 2005. The first single from Bryant’s debut CD with S+S Mack, “Live It Slow,” will be released to radio on October 5. The album, Live It Slow, will be available in all major retail outlets in early spring 2007.

“The goal of our label is to brand our artists, not just have successful singles,” said Freeman. “We are putting together the perfect team right now. Everyone on board is focused on building a label that exemplifies the quality and integrity of Keith’s music – one that knows how to relate to the country audience.”

The video for “Live It Slow” will be shot early this October in Nashville and released nationwide to video outlets later in the month. Award-winning feature film director, Ken Shaw of Soaring Eagle Pictures, and multiple award-winning director of photography, Ben Pearson, have signed on for the project. The video will debut in October for more than 3,000 people aboard the 6th Annual Keith Bryant Fan Appreciation Cruise with Carnival Cruise Lines.

A Virginia native, Keith Bryant was propelled into the national spotlight with his 2005 hit “Ridin’ with the Legend.” But Bryant is no stranger to country audiences. Over the past 10 years, he has been entertaining fans with singles like “Steady as the Rain,” “I Laid Her Body Down,” “Is There a Honky Tonk Here” and “Somebody.”

“Keith Bryant is one of the most talented artists I have had the pleasure to be around.” Freeman said. “This new single and album really show the range and God-given talent he has. The music is new, fresh and sounds different than anything Keith has ever done. The theme that seems to be moving around the office is ‘It’s Time.’ And it is.”

Said Bryant, “I’ve known Steve for many years. It’s exciting to share the same passion and dedication with someone and I feel like he’s 100% behind this project. I’ve been waiting for this opportunity for a long time.”

With the launch of the label, Freeman announces key staff appointments including Bruce Allen as head of East Coast Operations, Daniel Peacock at the helm of new media, and Mark Ham as Vice President of A&R. In addition to owning Tandem Publishing, ANA Records and Americas New Artist Management, Bruce Allen has been Keith Bryant’s personal and road manager as well as producer for more than 12 years. His label, Tandem Records, was responsible for releasing and distributing Keith’s first two albums, The Secret To Life and Welcome To Love. Daniel Peacock is an Internet guru who joins S+S Mack from the UK. Since touring with the band Rescue in the 80s, Mark Ham has founded Markham Street Music Publishing and has written songs for artists of all music genres as well as major motion pictures.

The Nashville office for S+S Mack Records will be open in October on Music Row. Temporarily, the mailing address is 533 Church St. #225, Nashville, TN 37219. The telephone number is 615-574-0864. For more information about Keith Bryant, visit www.keithbryant.com

Bio

Keith Bryant was raised on a farm in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. His love of music came early and naturally. Although Bryant had to balance his passion for music with the work required to keep the household running, he always found time to practice and learn the guitar. He entered several talent competitions during his teenage years, usually leaving with a trophy and a smile. At the Gospel Teen Convention competition Bryant earned the honor of Best Male Vocalist, and soon after, he began performing with local bands. At age19 he won Best Male Vocalist honors at the East Coast Country Music Championship.

Keith found this new and exciting talent and decided to start a band, he named it Ironhorse. The rock band traveled club to club, conquering the south east and created a widely known name for themselves. After touring for a few years, Keith wanted to see if he could make it in the big Leagues of the music business and came to Nashville.

Capturing the attention of producers and critics on Music Row, Bryant's first Christmas release What Will Christmas Be, Robert Oermann, music historian and critic for Music Row Magazine commented, “Keith Bryant, whoever you are, my best wishes for your success.” Oermann also awarded Bryant a DISCovery Award and Honorable Mention for his debut of The Secret to Life.

When Lofton Creek Records President Mike Borchetta discovered Bryant’s talent, he knew that his voice was a perfect match for a new song Mike had been waiting to find the right person for. As executive producer of the track, Borchetta agreed to release the single and began an especially successful year for Keith. The title track single, “Ridin' with the Legend” was released in March 2004 on Lofton Creek Records. The album features 10 songs dedicated to country music and the NASCAR Scene. The release of the first single has been a phenomenon for Keith Bryant, maintaining airplay on country radio for more than 10 months. “Ridin' with the Legend” has become an anthem for country enthusiasts and race fans everywhere, propelling Bryant into the country spotlight and giving him his first Billboard charted single.

Signing with a New Label in 2006, S+S Mack Records, The release of his 2007, 10 track album Live it slow is expected to be highly successful for Keith Bryant. With having the most talented songwriters in Nashville work with this album, Bobby E. Boyd, John Edwards, Troy McConnel, Stephony Smith, Brett James, Dillon Dixon, Jeffrey Steele, Randy Boudreaux, and Donnie Keys there is no room for failure. On the release of Keith’s second single “She Danced”, Keith will be starting a summer Radio/ club tour in Texas, then heading to the mid-east, and finishing up in the south east.
