Keith Gardner (((keishie)))

The passion and love for music runs deep within Keith Gardner (Keishie). Growing up in the Washington D.C. metro Keith was primarily influenced by the sounds that were prevalent in the area from funk, soul and go-go to indie and punk. A typical family vacation to England in the early 90's exposed Keith to London's burgeoning warehouse rave scene and to the new electronic sounds that were to shape and direct his future. Upon returning to the states, Keith acquired his first set of turntables and began the process of collecting records, learning how to select and mix.

Keith's love for collecting and sharing music landed him a position working, nearly a decade, for two of Washington D.C.'s premier record shops, Music Now and Yoshitoshi Records, the later owned by world renowned DJ duo, Deep Dish. Working in these record shops gave Keith the opportunity to network with other local and national DJ's and promoters. These connections helped in landing him regular gigs and residencies in the D.C. / Baltimore area and eventually across the country and abroad sharing the decks with high profile DJ's such as Josh Wink, Marques Wyatt, D'Julz and many others.

Keith continues to share the music that he loves on dance floors, seamlessly and effortlessly floating between genres and moods, always taking the listener on a journey that is both thought provoking and enlightening.
