Keith Jones

Singer-songwriter Keith Jones likes to defy musical convention. On his first album release, "Year To Year" and latest single releases "On My Horizon” and “Long Time Comin” Jones moves effortlessly from ballads and love songs to new country. The result is a strikingly original sound all his own, setting him apart from the pack.

While other artists often choose convention over the creative, Jones refuses to choose anything but the latter. His unique and multi-influenced style is inspired by life, love and the natural world. He was born in Jersey in the Channel Islands and picked up his first guitar at the age of five. By the time he turned 10 he had written his first song and given his first public performances. Through his father's endless encouragement, Jones began appearing on television and radio, quickly becoming a local star.

As the years progressed, Jones began taking his singing and songwriting to a higher level both artistically and spiritually. To date, Jones has written and recorded over 300 songs, even gaining the rave reviews of legendary Beatles producer Sir George Martin. He was managed by New York company Countdown Entertainment during 2003-2004. His credits include having some of his songs published in the United States and airplay on “Radio Zenith” (Belgium), BCL Studios (UK) and “Peelgrass Radio” (Netherlands). He has also received solid airplay on Ison Live Radio (Australia) and worldwide. He has worked with Australian Music Marketing Abroad (AMMA) and has appeared twice in the MIDEM Issues of “An’R” Artist, Repertoire and International Licensing (2005 and 2008).During 2008 he appeared as a featured artist with his singles “On My Horizon” and “Long Time Comin” on BBC Radio stations across the UK. The singles also received airplay on independent radio and internet stations. The songs are both available for download on iTunes and all the major digital platforms and were released on Jones’ own label “K J Recordings”

Jones now devotes himself full-time to writing and recording his songs from his own studio. On "Year To Year" and latterly, on his new single releases, his dedication, love and life experience shine through, making for an original and eclectic musical experience.
