Biography

Keith Morgan...Songwriter/Musician...I consider myself a songwriter first and then a musician. My main passion in music is song writing. I enjoy the whole process from creating the melodies, the chord structures, to the lyrics, arrangements and finally the recording process. Playing the piano can be a bit more challenging, but I love that as well and I don't think I could live without it. Just to be able to sit down at the piano and let the mood of the moment take you to a new place. I'm 46 now, when I was 18 I decided I wanted to write songs. Not sure why I thought I could, but that's what I wanted to do. So I took maybe 3 months of piano lessons and took a music theory course at a local community college and I was on my way. 28 years later I have 3 CD's that I wrote, arranged and recorded at my home studio...Imagine Home Studio...My music is a combination of Chirstian, World, New Age and Ambient...

Lyrics

Hear The Children

Written By: Keith Morgan

Throughout the plains of Africa
there lives a deadly plague.
Young and old are dying by
the hundreds day by day.
Sea to sea from land to land
it seeks the rich and poor.
One day soon this deadly plague
could come knocking on you door.
We have the power to change our
world, we have to make a chioce.
Now's the time to make a stand
by lifting up our voice.

Hear the children of Africa
and all around the world.
Sing with voices to all the nations
'til ev'ry voice can be heard.
hear their cries there calling out to you, we pray our world can renew.
Or will there be no change at all?

CHORUS:
Throughout the plains of Africa
there's children filled with fear.
How can we just live our lives
and never shed a tear?
One by one and tribe by tribe
this plague may lay it's claim.
In the end who are we
to sit back and to blame?
We have the power to change our
world, we have to make a chilce.
Now's the time to make a stand
by lifting up our voice.

Repeat Chorus:

We are the voices of tomorrow.
We are the children of the world.

Repeat Chorus:

We are the voices of tomorrow.
We are the children of the world.

Colors

Written By: Keith Morgan

As I walk along on an autumn day.
With all the colors all along my way.
I see the beauty and I stop to pray.
Lord will we be color blind one day?
How wonderful to see the trees,
With all the colors blended as one.
Isn't that the way that we should see, all the people in our lives.

Colors are a miracle, we are the
canvas of God's very hand.
Every child is so beautiful, no matter
where you live across the land.
When you walk down the street,
do you want to look into a mirror?
How wonderful it is to see,
all the colors of the trees.

Surrounded by the autumn winds,
in the air there is life within.
All God's creature's living side by side.
Lord I pray we'll change our minds.
How wonderful to see the trees,
With all the colors blended as one.
Isn't that the way that we should see, all the people in our lives?

Repeat Chrous:

How wonderful to see the trees,
With all the colors blended as one.
Isn't that the way that we should see, all the people in our lives?

When you walk down the street,
do you want to look into a mirror?
How wonderful it is to see,
all the colors of the trees.

Have You Ever Wondered

Written By: Keith Morgan

Have you ever wondered why some
will live while some may lose there lives?
Have you ever wondered why some
wil laugh while other's choose to cry?
How can you explain to me,
this uncontrolled philosophy?
Or are we just an entity,
doomed to fail by our morality?
Did He have to die in vain,
or will we choose to change?

Imagine there's a time,
when we will not be blind.
Imagine there's a way,
to right the wrongs of yesterday.
Imagine if you can,
there is freedom to every man.
Imagine there's a place, where living life is something to embrace.

Have you ever wondered why the rich take more while some don't have a dime?
Have you ever wondered why some will help while some turn a blind eye?
Do we have integrity, the need for truth and honesty?
Are we trapped within society, tell me where is our humanity?
Did He have to die in vain, or will we choose to change?

Repeat Chorus:

If we could change it all, or would we choose to fall?
In that garden long ago,
how were they to know?
In that garden long ago,
if they just said no.

I Stand

Written By: Keith Morgan

I stand for people who are different
I stand for children all alone.
I stand for brother's and for sister's
who choose to make it on there own.
I stand for people who serve others
I stand for freedoms that we've won.
I stand for what you may believe in
or will we choose to stand as one.
I stand for people who are dying
I stand for those who walk the streets
I stand for nations that are fighting
and praying daily to be free.

I wish I had all the answers
Don't know where I'll be tomorrow.
I know there are many reasons,
but most of all I stand for Jesus.

I stand for singing in the shower.
I stand for walking in the rain.
I stand for piercings and for tatoos,
as long as you can stand the pain.
I stand for individual freedom's
I stand for making your own choice
I stand for speaking where your heart is, by daily lifting up your voice.
I stand for sleeping in the morning
I stand for staying up all night.
I stand for fighting for your honor,
and holding on to all your rights.

Repeat Chorus:

I stand for you, I stand for me.
I stand up for your right to be.
I stand for hope, I stand for life,
I stand for quiet walks at night.
I stand on truth, I stand for peace,
I stand for protest in the streets.
I stand for hope, I stand for prayer,
I stand for people everywhere.

Repeat Chorus X'2:
