At first glance, Keith Terrell could easily pass for a typical teenager. Gaze a little deeper and you will find that the adolescent features rest upon a mid-twenty year old who is far from typical. Keith Terrell, also known as K.T., was easily gaining his seal of being just another statistic, dead or in jail. His love of money was the vehicle that drove him to make many life threatening, freedom ending choices that eventually led to the eradication of his liberty. K.T. found himself behind bars in a cold, lonely cell at the age of nineteen. Thankfully the natural and spiritual bondage was not the end or the commonality of his story.

Keith Terrell grew up living in his grandmothers’ house with his two sisters and mother. This was a place of refuge where anyone in the family could find shelter at anytime. That open door had the three bedroom, one bathroom house packed with as many as fourteen people at any given moment. The lack of attention that he experienced moved K.T. to begin composing endless songs about his life and circumstances, honing the gift that would later be used for the glory of God.

During his incarceration, the spirit moved upon K.T. letting him know that he was not walking in his purpose. While out of jail and attending numerous court dates to dispute his case, he was led to Peace Apostolic Church where he heard the truth preached for the very first time. It would soon be clear that God had something greater for the life of Keith Terrell. Saved on a late October night, his mission began as a witness to win souls for Christ.

With his God given gifts of writing and performing, K.T. was given the vision to spread the Word of God through his music. With the many doors that the Lord has opened, Keith Terrell has been powerfully touching souls in every appearance he has made since beginning his gospel career. He has musically ministered for “The Source Magazine” Youth Foundations national competition in which he won third place after receiving first place in the Los Angeles regional. He won “Best Gospel Rap Act” in “The New York International Music Fest” which led to an appearance at “Madison Square Gardens.” K.T. has been on the nationally syndicated television shows, “The Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors, (T.V. One)”, and “West Coast Praze with Donna Mcafee, (Sky Angel Network).” His music has also been played regularly on the top rated radio station “KJLH.”

In an industry that promotes sex, money, drugs and violence, Keith Terrell is on a mission to bring about an awareness of God through the ministry of his music, to encourage God’s elect, and to aid in the restoration and deliverance of the fallen away people of God. He presents a competitive alternative in the music world that competes with any artist around. In these dark times Keith Terrell has been chosen to let his light shine and rightly represent the Kingdom through his God inspired lyrics. Through the power and anointing of The Holy Ghost, countless souls will be touched by Gods mighty use of Keith Terrell. Ready are not, here he comes!
