I am a husband and father of two girls. I own a machine shop and have been machining for over 20 years.
I have been playing guitar and singing for most of my life. In this time I have written many instrumental songs. I have recently been inspired to write this song "I Must Have Blinked" by the events in my life.
My wife and I are going to be together for 20 years soon. Our children are graduating and moving out... Every event that happens makes me feel older, but also makes me ask the question "Where did the time go?" I have found myself constantly telling my wife "I must have blinked"
I know that most people in their late 30's and up to 99 can relate to this song as it is about all the things in life that mean the most... Love, life and happiness... And to not close your eyes even for a moment because you just might wake up one morning and find that life has passed you by.
