Kelli is a 17 year old self-taught musician with an amazing voice and a gift for song writing. Kelli's songs are positive, upbeat, and encouraging. They empower listeners to better themselves and turn to God for strength. Her goal in writing is not only to encourage Christians, but to catch the ear of non-believers and get them thinking about a better way. Her lyrics appeal to a wide range of ages from children to adults and her musical genre is best defined as country.
Her first album, completed December 2010, is a testament to her writing as it is an album that you can listen to over and over without getting tired of it. She also does all the vocals and acoustic guitar. Her voice and style has been called a combination of Colbie Caillat and Jewel. It's unique and inspiring. She has a second album in production, expected out May of 2012.
Kelli has traveled the mid-West with a youth outreach ministry, encouraging high school-aged youth to make good choices in their lives. She has performed and shared testimony at many local church events as well as other events and fairs.
Kelli lives on a 4th generation Sandhills ranch in Northwestern Nebraska where cattle are many and people are few, but God's goodness and grace is evident everywhere.
