Kelly is poised to be the new leader in contemporary Christian Jazz. In one set she can perform a Latin blues jam, a mellow jazz tune, and a soul stirring song of praise. - Comerica/Detroit Public Library
Sophisticated, stylish, and innovative! These words best describe First Step - the new CD by Kelly Eldridge. Kelly creatively blends jazz and pop making her latest CD one of the most unique I've heard. Her soul-stirring lyrics coupled with her catchy, unforgettable melodies will delight you. This CD is a must for those looking for jazz that journeys beyond the smooth jazz genre.

It's rare to find such honesty and rocking and sophisticated melodies from one and the same artist! Kelly Eldridge's music is neither for the faint of heart, nor for the shallow of spirit. If you're looking for bubble-gum Christianity, keep looking. If you want an honest, God-glorifying message, embedded in some really tasty chord progressions - here ya go! Bio
Diversity – one word that best describes the music and the mission of Kelly Eldridge. Her music is eclectic, incorporating aspects of funk, latin jazz, blues, and rock. Her passion is seeing the church overcome boundaries to become a true reflection of the love and power of Jesus Christ.
Kelly’s performances from her debut album First Step are drawing diverse crowds to enjoy the groove and the meaning of the music. “The songs are my stories, and my prayers,” shares Kelly. “The stories are about what I was like, what happened, and what life is like now. The prayers are mostly about my search for purpose. The songs are the questions; the answer isn’t necessarily in the words, but in the stylistic blend, and the people God brought together to make this project happen. I think a major aspect of my purpose in God is to be a bridge between people.”
