Bio
Kelly Routt is an emotional performer whose voice can be a powerful belt or a gentle lilt. The range of feeling in her music is felt through the sincere lyrics and passionate delivery. Watching her perform live is a moving experience.
As a private vocal instructor at the School for Creative and performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kelly is influenced by many genres of music. However, the love for Rock and Roll has always been an influence in and of it's own. Even while studying opera and classical music at Northern Kentucky University, Kelly was singing rock in clubs a few days a week.
Kelly has been a house performer at Jefferson Hall, The Knotty Pine, Sully's and The Blue Note. She also stays busy as a studio musician, singing in bands, duos and performing in weddings.
