The Better Things in Life

Written By: Kelsey Fitch

I'm feeling run down, from the no sleep and stress
Thinkin maybe i've been cursed rather than blessed
With these payments, and no money in my hang
What patience left inside me, is runnin real thin
So before i throw my hands up above
There's things that get me through that i think of

Like the better things in life
Like the rain fallin down, from the heavenly sky, and love in your arms
Like a child growing up, right before your eyes
Or the day you make your dad so proud he cries
There are precious moments you will realize, are the better things in life

There's a feelin, and it's hard to pass
YOu know your going nowhere, and you're getting there fast
Try moving forward, but your at a dead end
And no matter how hard you try you just can't win
so before you throw your hands up above
These things will get you through thinkin of

Like the better things in life
Like the rain fallin down, from the heavenly sky, and love in your arms
Like a child growing up, right before your eyes
Or the day you make your dad so proud he cries
There are precious moments you will realize, are the better things in life

In this world, everyone should take the time, everyone should realize that
Life's to short, so hold on tightly and always think of

the better things in life
Like the rain fallin down, from the heavenly sky, and love in your arms
Like a child growing up, right before your eyes
Or the day you make your dad so proud he cries
don't let the little things in life pass you by
These are the precious moments you will realize, are the better things in life

No Regrets

Written By: Kelsey Fitch

Love was something that i'd never found
It finally came and swept me off the ground
Little did i know, what goes up must come down
Sometimes i wish i could have seen ahead
But then i wouldn't be the girl I am

I've got No regrets, and that's the way it should be
I couldn't stand livin in uncertainty
you gotta make those mistakes and you learn from them
I've got No oh oh oh oh Regrets

No one made me feel the way you do
I meant nothing at all cuz it's all about you
talk about biting, more than i could chew
Well sometimes i wish i could have seen ahead, but then i wouldn't be the girl i am

I've got No regrets, and that's the way it should be
I couldn't stand livin in uncertainty
you gotta make those mistakes and you learn from them
I've got No oh oh oh oh Regrets

I'm finally at peace and there's one thing i just gotta do... is say THANK YOU

I've got No regrets, and that's the way it should be
I couldn't stand livin in uncertainty
you gotta make those mistakes and you learn from them
I've got No oh oh oh oh Regrets

I want A Cowboy

I want a Cowboy
Written by: Kelsey Fitch

Well back some hundred years the men were just my type
Because for their fair maidens they would, risk their lives
They’d take out their swords and they’d fight till they’d bleed
Because of a thing that we call chivalry
The men of today just can’t step up to the plate
That’s why I’m in this crazy loud frustrated state

Chorus:
I want a cowboy, with his heart of gold
Just one look and honey I’m sold
I want a cowboy, not a little boy
Just give me a man, Whose mamma raised him just right

Well I’ve been lookin at you boy, I’ve looked over you twice
And from the outside view I say you, look real nice
But I need to know if you’ve got those country roots
And if you look good in jeans and cowboy boots
Wanna ride on those horses, ride out into the sun
And hear all the stories how the west was won

Chorus:
I want a cowboy, with his heart of gold
Just one look and honey I’m sold
I want a cowboy, not a little boy
Just give me a man, Whose mamma raised him just right

Don’t want a city pretty boy who likes to play games
Don’t want a guy who is lookin for the riches and fame
I want a guy who’s up and at er at the start of the day
Just give me a guy who really knows his way

I want a cowboy with his heart of gold
Just one look and honey I’m sold
Don’t want a little boy who wants to start a fight
Just give me a man

Chorus:
I want a cowboy, with his heart of gold
Just one look and honey I’m sold
I want a cowboy, not a little boy
Just give me a man, just give me a man
Whose mamma raised him just right
