"Reviews of Keltic Kudzu Sounds"

Reviewer: Larry Gibson, Bagpiper and Program Director WBLJ Radio, Dalton, GA. “It takes a versatile group to perform variety and to do it well. This is what I discovered evident as I listened to this CD. Each selection is a winner. The rhythmic arrangement of "Danny Boy" was refreshing. The vocals on "Ready For The Storm" are enchanting, I was also blown away by the a cappella harmonies in an almost madrigal style on "Soul Cakes". My favorite cut on the CD is the unique arrangement of Loch Lomond. The vocals and instruments work together like a fine oiled machine. In short I find this CD to be outstanding, a really great CD by a really great band.”

Reviewer: Brian Sullivan of the band Emerald Rose: "I must say, you all have really done an excellent job on this one! I am really impressed for a number of reasons...the music is very good, and your players are working well with each other. I really enjoy the guitar, especially some of the flamenco/Spanish stylings. The fiddle, flutes, keyboards are all very good at enhancing the atmosphere of the songs. I enjoyed the music quite a bit, and it captured well on the cd, but the real kicker were the harmony vocals. You have a nice symmetry in the harmonies, and you achieve that rare quality of blending the two voices into one. I thought your rendition of "Ready for the Storm" was amazing - nice texturing, beautiful harmonies and very tasteful solos on flute and guitar. Excellent! Well done!"

Reviewer: Mike Gordon, Convener of the Games, Loch Hartwell. "A Hard Working, Fun, Highly Talented, Great Addition To Our Scottish Festival. We'll Have Them Back As Often As They Want To Come."
