Acoustic guitar, vocals and banjo Kens writing is at the core of the
GGL project.  He believes in the universal story of positivity and
active community engagement and seeks to translate this story in song,
written word, and actions. Began recording music in 2005 with the
project Mugdown; Life on TV 2005 Side of the Road 2006. Studied with Ray Bryant and formed Kite together to release three CDs; Kite 2008, Future Perfect 2009, Exercise in Levitation 2010. Ray and Ken formed Other Corner Jug Band with Rays wife, Kim, in 2010 to release two CDs; Other Corner Jug Band 2010, Grow 2010. Ken
formed Gatsbys Green Light as a collective of like-minded musicians in
2011 to make music to support the sustainability effort. Gatsbys Green Light 2011, Time for a Good Time 2011. In
2012, Ken began work on some larger literary projects and also met and
began writing music with Luke Gould. Their first writing session
together would become Juggo Vivo, a song and an idea later
incorporated into Kens writing. Their sessions would form the basis for
the music of Annalee and the Forever Smile and form the foundation
for the larger group to build upon. Ken continues to create the world
around Annalee as a model for sustainable living and active community
engagement. Due out in 2013, with hopes of the book release in 2014 the work aims to be a fulcrum
for positive change spanning multiple audiences and formats.
