Meet Kendall Elijah, an akward blend of small town charm and golden age lyricism. From a tender age, the Hyattsville, Maryland native spent more time in museums than on swingsets while being force-fed everything from Duran Duran to Parliament-Funkadelic. Initially rooted in fine arts, Elijah gradually shifted his focus to music and released his first mix tape, K4P (Kendall 4 President) in June 2008. This caught the ear of the GrungeCake [Crisis] Magazine which led to his signing to GrungeCake Records in July of 2010. Heavily influenced by jazz, hip-hop and indie rock, Kendall Elijah spews witty wordplay revealing honest tales about coming of age in today's trying times.
