"4 Life Musick - Creating New Avenues"

The emergence of 4 Life Musick Entertainment (4Life) represents a fresh new spirit in the gospel/inspirational community. Founded in Las Vegas, Nevada by Ken and Brenda Gober, 4Life is more than a Christian entertainment company. It is committed to expressing the new life that we have in Christ in many different and creative ways - "new wine poured into new wineskins."

"Life is much more precious than what people think or want to believe. First and foremost it is a God given gift. Nothing deserved or earned, but a precious gift that should be cherished," said Ken Gober, president/ceo of 4Life. "We believe life can be summed up into four words: Love-Inspiration-Faith-Eternal."

Brenda Gober, vice president/manager says, "At 4Life our mission is to be a fresh voice to a new generation. We are dedicated to creating new avenues of worship through music and the arts. Our commitment is to cross racial, cultural and generational barriers with a contemporary vibe."

With the development of technology, 4Life has already established "The Gospel Spot." The Spot is an innovative internet show that is inspiring with thought provoking topics and hot urban contemporary gospel music. It represents "a place where the spirit is in the vibe". The Gospel Spot was launched on www.xradio.biz/lvgospel and can be heard every Friday at 4 p.m. pacific time.

Ken has been performing worldwide for the last 12 years and he has since been called to use this experience to transform his knowledge and anointing to win souls for Christ. Ken is currently working on a gospel project to be released in 2007. Be sure to visit his website at www.kengober.com for updates.

Brenda holds a degree in business administration and has excellent management and organizational skills. Her passion for success is the driving force behind 4Life.

Ken wants everyone to know that "through 4 Life Musick Entertainment, our sole purpose and calling is to send the message out that God is Life and Life is in God!"

"Gary singer inspired by parents' strengths as he produces, releases new CD recording"

March 23, 2007
By Lisa DeNeal Post-Tribune correspondent

GARY -- Music has always been in Ken Gober's life.

His vocals were inherited from his father, Cliff Gober, and he said he gets his inspiration from his mother, Bessie Gober.

Ken is returning to his gospel roots with a new CD. He has a maxi-single featuring the singles, "When You Praise," "Called" and "You Did It for Me."

Ken produced the project under his label, 4 Life Musick Entertainment, with Ken McCrae for Madd Chedda Muzic.

Gober said the songs are a rebirth.
"I was called to God in 2003 after going through so much," Gober said. "My goal is to bring God's message through song, dancing, theatre and the spoken word."
Gober graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1985, then attended the University of Montana in Missoula on a football scholarship, but did not get a degree.
"I returned to Gary after three years there and I was depressed and got caught up in a vicious cycle," he said.

Gober admits to being wild in high school and college; drinking and smoking marijuana. But reuniting with the wrong crowd led Gober to using crack cocaine.

"I was strung out on crack at 23 years old, no longer caring about anything," he said.

Gober's life turned around in 1991 when he entered rehabilitation and, in December of that year, won a competition at the Royal Theatre Showcase in Chicago.

In 1993, Gober moved to Atlanta and met a touring band, Exotique, which he joined a year later.
"We performed on cruise ships, traveling to Europe, Asia, Africa," he said. "It was a great run, and I met my wife, Brenda, when the group toured in Bermuda."

Ken and Brenda now live in Las Vegas.

"There is no temptation for me because I am a man of God," Gober said. "He was the one who lifted me from the sins and torment; I am extremely blessed."

Bio

"And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins." - Matthew 9:17

The multi-talented Ken Gober is bursting on to the gospel music scene with his new style of gospel, "Rhythm & Praise". With the release of his new single, "When You Praise," Ken is carving his own niche in the gospel music industry.

The singer/songwriter was born in Gary, IN, a city not necessarily heralded for the numerous talented recording artists that began their music careers in the steel city.

While growing up in Gary was a challenge, music served as a constant and an inspiration throughout Ken's life. Ken's musical ability and talent was evident at an early age and helped to keep him away from some of the negative distractions of the streets.

While Christian values were definitely taught and instilled in Ken throughout his young life, like the prodigal son, he strayed away and became hooked on drugs and alcohol and at a young age, found himself in drug rehabilitation and at the bottom of his life but through God's grace and mercy, Ken was able to turn his life around and pursue his music career.

During the early 90's Ken moved to Atlanta, GA and joined a touring show band, "Exotique" as lead male vocalist. The band performed throughout the United States and internationally including China, Japan, France, Spain, Italy, Asia, the Middle East and the Caribbean.

Ken was called by God in 2003 and he made the life changing decision to firmly anchor his soul in faith and turn his gifts and talents to the Lord and go back to where it all started - in the church! Because of the awesome anointing put on his life he has dedicated the rest of his life to serving and ministering to God's people.

Along with live performances, Ken has appeared in three gospel stage plays and wrote and produced all music for Mack Productions stage play, "Rachel's Blues".

Studio credits include background vocals for LaFace recording artist McArthur. He also recently produced an album for Philadelphia native and playwright, Donald Welch.

With a fresh anointing and new wine for the soul, God has truly birthed a special talent that will touch the hearts of God's people and proclaim his truth to the world.
