Bio
Grammy-winning producer Ken Kiernan has produced and engineered recordings for The Chieftains, Midge Ure, John Martyn, U2, The Dubliners, The London Symphony Orchestra, Christy Moore, Paul Brady, Sting, Clannad, and others -- while in his spare time, composing for Irish and American television.
In the 80s Ken owned and ran Keystone Studios, Ireland's premier recording studio, with an international client list ranging from 'Def Leppard' and 'The Police' to 'The Blue Nile' and 'U2'.
Later, Ken's band 'Pulling Faces' was signed to Warner Brothers and had a half-dozen number one singles across Europe, plus several more that went into the top 10. Ken's songs have been performed and recorded by a wide range of artists, from L.A. Guns to The Bogey Boys.
As for the band...
Anto Drennan is among Ireland's top working session guitarist, and apart from working with Ken, he tours with The Corrs. Anto's credits include a stint on the road with 'Genesis' and several albums with 'Clannad'.
Aengus Rawlston honed his chops with 'The Picture House', opening up for the likes of The Corrs, Sawdoctors, Runrig, and Bon Jovi before gracing the stage on 'The Late Late Show'.
Professor James Delaney has tinkled the keys with Mary Coughlan, Van Morrison, Davey Spillane, and too many more artists to name.
Youngest of the bunch, drummer Jason Duffy can be heard on albums by Sharon Shannon, The Corrs, and many others.
