Lyrics

Right to be Free

Written By: Ken McCoy

RIGHT TO BE FREE

I STAND FOR MY COUNTRY FOR THAT FLAG I WILL FIGHT
I STAND FOR MY FAMILY AND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT

I FIGHT FOR THE FREEDOM OF SOULS I DO NOT KNOW
IN LANDS OF OPPRESSION WHERE THE DEVIL DARE NOT GO

CHORUS
I WILL STAND ON THAT FRONT LINE WHERE MY FATE MIGHT BE BOUND
IF DARKNESS COMES ABOUT ME I WILL STAND MY GROUND
I WILL HOLD TO A PROMISE THAT I MADE TO ME
WHAT I FIGHT FOR MOST IS THE RIGHT TO BE FREE

I WILL FIGHT THE TERROR THAT HIDES ITS FACE IN SHAME
THAT PREYS UPON THE INNOCENT WHO'LL NEVER BE THE SAME

I WILL STAND FOR THE ONES WHO CAN'T STAND ON THEIR OWN
I'LL SHOW NO MERCY FOR THOSE WHO TRY TO TAKE MY HOME

CHORUS

BRIDGE
I HAVE SEEN SO MANY HEROES WHO'VE PAID THE HIGHEST PRICE
NOW TOUCH THE FACE OF GOD FOR THEIR SACRIFICE

I STAND BESIDE THE BRAVEST WE STAND ONE AND ALL
LEST WE FORGET ALL THOSE WHO DID FALL

CHORUS
