Ken McCoy - In 1985 Ken quit his job and hit the road playing music. He has never looked back. To date, he has written hundreds of songs and recorded and released numerous singles to radio that hit the charts in several countries including Canada, Europe and Australia. Ken has written, produced and released 3 full-length projects including "The Real McCoy" in 91 "Contrasts" in 98 and "Outside the Lines" in 2001. Country Music News rated "Outside the Lines" #7 on Larry Delaney's Delaney's Dozen Top 12 CD's of 2002, and "Contrast's" #12 in 98.

Performing is what Ken enjoys the most. When people approach him with compliments such as "I am not a big country music fan, but I love what your doing" or "Whatever you do, don't quit" it is truly inspirational as it shows they believe in what he is doing. Ken has performed for thousands at music festivals, fairs, rodeos, corporate shows and one-niters. He has also shared the stage with acts like Terri Clark, Diamond Rio and Alabama. Ken and his band have also donated time and talent to many charities like The Canadian Cancer Society, Firefighters Burn Fund and The Red Cross. In 2004 Ken released "Prayin' for Rain" donating 100% of the sales of the CD single and airplay royalties to the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The song was inspired by the fires of 2003 that hit British Columbia destroying hundreds of homes and causing millions of dollars in damages.

Ken and his band's natural talent and dedication have been recognized by the BCCMA over the years with multiple nominations including, Male Vocalist, Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, (Outside the Lines), Single of the Year (Nowhere Town and Georgia on a Fast Train and Mexican Jail), Songwriter of the Year (Along Came You, Mexican Jail and Prayin' For Rain), Producer of the Year (Outside the Lines) Group of the Year and Country Club Band of the Year. Also winning such awards as the Humanitarian, single and songwriter of the year award in 2004 for "Prayin' for Rain" as well as other awards. Ken also received his star on the Merritt Walk of Stars!

With over 20 chart hitting singles released to radio to date, countless nominations and awards, a tour schedule that is never ending as well as preparation for an upcoming CD, there is no sign of stopping for Ken McCoy and his band.
