With bangin’ beats and a smooth lyrical flow, native Houstonian Kennie Randall is a phenomenon that hip-hop lovers across the globe have been waiting for. Kennie’s love for music began when he was just a toddler. At the age of 10 he began to play the drums and keyboard, and music became a deep passion.
It is true that “the goodness of God brings a man to repentance” and such was the case for Kennie. After starting his music career as a gangsta rapper at the age of 17 a near fatal accident caused Kennie to experience firsthand the goodness of God not only protecting him and saving his life but also blessing him with a supernatural recovery when doctors said he would never walk again. Encouraged by his father to change his life and his music, Kennie reflected on God's goodness and his father's wisdom and decided he would use his talents to glorify God.
