Kenny Karr-Altered Roots

My influences and style ranges from Merle Haggard to ZZ Top to Lynyrd Skynyrd to James Taylor to MB 20 to 3 Doors Down to David Alan Coe. I come from a Country music background and played in several Southern Rock Bands in Texas. Because of my girl friend and her impecable taste in music, I am learning to appreciate some of the new Rock and Alternative music. So, having this diversity in the styles and genres I listen to, I have come to appreciate music in a whole new and fresh way. I like to incorporate all of these influences and styles into the gigs I play. I am currently working on separating these different styles and genres into groups and plan to showcase or highlight different styles into different nights, such as 50's nights, Country Nights, Southern Rock Nights, etc.
