Kenny "B" Burroughs

Kenny Burroughs, a native of Sumter, SC, most often describes his music as feel-good music that lyrically tells stories about life and his love for God that makes your heart think. He coins his style of music, soulful inspirational. This 30 year old singer/songwriter is indubitably a true seasoned musician who has garnered a reputation for writing warm and heartfelt, yet infectious songs that engage the heart. His humble yet aggressive spirit along with prolific musical talents, has afforded him many opportunities in the gospel music industry. With a musical background nurtured in the church, Kenny began playing the piano at the age of eight years old. By the age of fourteen, he was already writing his first songs of inspiration and praise. With Kenny's background in music, there is no wonder that he has found himself right at home on the stage! Coupled with the blessings of God, Kenny's hard work and dedication to his craft is gaining him national notoriety in the gospel music industry. He has worked with a wide range of artists to include: Adrian Green & The Diplomats for Christ, Bishop W.T. English & The Combined Choirs of Greater St. Paul, Elizabethtown Mass Choir, and Rick Rhoda & Essential Praise. Because of the uniqueness of Kenny's music, one cannot place him one specific category. He states it best by saying whatever category you would use to describe the artists Andre' Crouch, Thomas Dorsey, Stevie Wonder and Sting in then I'll take that one. If you had to describe Kenny in one word, it would be 'Free' because he doesn't allow the cares of this life to bog him down.
