Bio
There have been many influences in my life when it comes to music. Some of the most influencial are: Merle Haggard, George Jones, and George Strait (Legends). My first influence was my granny. A self-taught musician, she was always bringing home a new instrument. She'd teach herself how to play it, then teach someone else. She taught every musician in our family the basics...not to mention all the neighbor kids that would come for lessons. Piano, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, accordian...she played them all! I loved to listen to my dad sing and play the guitar every Friday night! "Tennesee Saturday Night" was always my favorite song that he sang. To this day, I'm still trying to play the lead break the way he did it.
