Kenon Chen is a singer-songwriter whose strength and energy raises him to something new and bold. He walks onto the stage, often barefoot, surrounded by four or five guitars in their stands, waiting for their turn like dance partners. The depth, humor and love apparent in his lyrics, and the intricacy of his guitar playing, draw each audience member into an evening that doesnt want to end. And when it does, you walk away, floating a few feet above ground.
Kenon has already headlined at some of the historic and famous venues in the San Francisco Bay area, including the Little Fox Theatre, Hotel Utah Saloon, and Sweetwater Saloon. He has become well-known for his guitar playing, and is often hailed as the guitarists guitarist. In June 2005, he heads to the U.K. for a 10-date tour, and later this summer will be back in the studio to record a follow-up to his first EP. He continues to build a loyal, local following through his live performances across the U.S.
