Kent McAlister is a soulful country/roots artist whose wit and sincere insight into matters of the heart have securely established him in Canada’s present-day roots-country music scene. His traditional-yet-unorthodox brand of music stays true to the genre but incorporates a number of influences ranging from punk to classic rock to jazz. By fusing all of these elements with his witty lyrical observations, McAlister and his top-notch band create a live show definitely worth remembering.
