Born May 4, 1986 in the Delta of Greenville, Mississippi, La’Darius “Kepa Ruffin” Davis is an up and coming entrepreneur and independent music artist highly influenced by blues, jazz, neo soul, classic rock and hip hop music. His passion for music began at age 7 when he embraced the name “Lil D” while freestyling and recording cassette tapes with local neighborhood artist in the Carver Circle Projects of Greenville, Mississippi.

 In May 2010, Kepa introduced the lyrically raging and explosive rhythmic mixtape “The Extraordinary Gentleman” which was released June 2010 and can be found on Soundcloud.com/keparuffin. Kepa Ruffin has recently released a legendary soulful masterpiece EP “Clean Cut” which was released March 25, 2016. The project was executive produced by the Davis “D-Boy” brothers Kepa Ruffin and La’Kendrick “Dullie-Do” Davis. Clean Cut can be found in online music stores such as ITunes, Rhapsody, Spotify, Spinrilla, Google Play and more. This lyrically acclaimed project has producers ranging from hip-hop legendary producer Manifest to the artistic flavored productions of Supreme Beats. With such amazing talent combined, the independently owned music label “League of Elites”, introduced the world to true Street Gospel. It has been guaranteed that the young entrepreneur/artist will entertain you with his message, gifts and highly sauced music consisting of unique harmonies.

​Kepa Ruffin has the ability to create music in nearly any genre. He has created music ranging from the retro sound of blues to the bouncing sound of techno. He was featured on numerous tracks on a mixtape released by the North Carolina recording group, Tsunami Gang in 2013 “Loyalty” hosted by Bigga Rankin and “Wave Certified “released March 2016 which can be found on Livemixtapes.com and Spinrilla. The story of the ambitious entrepreneur is only beginning. His business and recording label “League of Elites” co-founded by his brother Dullie-D and family member David “Hollywood Dope” Wilson Jr are laying the foundation for the new and upcoming empire of music in the world. Kepa Ruffin is currently performing shows and working on a documentary which is due to be released soon.   Poised to be an influential source for music in the south on the world stage, Kepa Ruffin, is busy establishing the foundation for his label which include local artist from Kepa’s hometown, Greenville, Mississippi and will also feature a number of artist from around the U.S.
