Lyrics

If You Just Believe

Written By: Keren Gaiser and Jack Trudel

Some people need to swim in oceans of diamonds to feel satisfied
Some all they need is a simple job to fill their hearts with a sense of pride
Some go the distance to find the essence of themselves to find their youth
And some always search for, but never seem to find a truth

Some people hear laughter of a child and the joy that it can bring
Some will never pride themselves with any joy even if they have everything
Some wake up without any reason to live in spite of all they’ve got
And some are content with just a little, but give others a lot

If you give one smile to show that you really care
If you always be true to yourself
Listen from inside to a voice that will say:
There’s no point in being someone else

If you open your heart to the world
Give others from what you receive
The road ahead of you will be filled with the promise
Of all that you hope to achieve
If you just believe

Some people run and run around in circles, spend a lifetime dwelling on their past
Some always live in the moment and never know if their luck will last
Some can close their eyes just for a moment, when they open all their hurt is gone
And some never got a drop of love in their lives, but their souls stay so steady so warm

If you give one smile to show that you really care
If you always be true to yourself
Listen from inside to a voice that will say:
There’s no point in being someone else

If you open your heart to the world
Give others from what you receive
The road ahead of you will be filled with the promise
Of all that you hope to achieve
If you just believe

Take your time but never stop searching for your place in this world
Life can sometimes throw you a curve
On a dark day, you might lose your hope
Believe and your road will unfold

If you give one smile to show that you really care
If you always be true to yourself
Listen from inside to a voice that will say:
There’s no point in being someone else

If you open your heart to the world
Give others from what you receive
The road ahead of you will be filled with the promise
Of all that you hope to achieve
If you just believe

Tell Me

Written By: Keren Gaiser

Sometimes you wonder where I am,
If I’m close by or far away
To that old place that makes us feel home

“Be a good girl,” you used to say
Wondering if I’m okay
Promising not to pretend to feel any different, oh

Every day, we’re living in our memory
Every night, we are waking to this reality
I don’t want us to fall down
I don’t want to ask for another dream, oh

Tell me, do I have your soul, your mind, your heart?
Just tell me, are you as strong to carry me above?
Just tell me

Carrying ourselves out in this world,
You give me strength, you give me hope
I just want you always to whisper in my ear, oh

This is no game, you’re here to stay,
Convince me that we are okay
In spite of what everyone else will tell you, oh

Every day, we’re living in our memory
And every night, we are waking to this reality
I don’t want us to fall down
I don’t want to ask for another dream

Tell me, do I have your soul, your mind, your heart?
Just tell me, are you as strong to carry me above?
Just tell me, do I have your heart?
Or am I just a small part?

Longing to feel loved
Remembering pain
I need to go forward
Don’t ask me to stay, so

Tell me, do I have your soul, your mind, your heart?
Just tell me, are you as strong to carry me above?
Just tell me, do I have your heart?
Or am I just a small part?

Figure Out

Written By: Keren Gaiser

Drunk from 3 bottles of wine
Naked like the day he was born
The cold winter night fills the air
Feeling so alone

Crossing a long road ahead
Time’s standing still
Longing not to feel this pain
No one to turn to – he screams

If he had one more day
Everything would be fine
If he had another damn chance
He wouldn’t be denied

Crossing the road
To another cold night
“It’s ridiculous,” he says
“If only,” he smiled

No one to cling to – he’s alone
No other soul to cry out to – still alone
Someone once told him: “Nothing seems to be good enough for you”
“Go out there, figure out your life”

Welcome to another sweet day
The saddest man in town
There is no more laughter here
Silence all around
Good memories are far away
Oceans apart
There was a time he was okay
Now he cannot relax

If he had one more day
Everything would be fine
He’s just a shadow of himself
Keeping problems deep inside

Crossing the same road
To another cold night
“It’s ridiculous,” he says
"If only,” he smiled

No one to cling to – he’s alone
No other soul to cry out to – still alone
Someone once told him: “Nothing seems to be good enough for you”
“Go out there, figure out your life”

So heavy are his shoulders
So empty his mind
Laying at the side of the road
Waiting for another morning light
With or without you, little man
Things are pretty clear
It’s your anger, it’s your fear
That’s what brought you here

No one to cling to – he’s alone
No other soul to cry out to – still alone
Someone once told him: “Nothing seems to be good enough for you”
“Go out there, figure out your life”

For You And I

Written By: Keren Gaiser

Heavy traffic on the roads
Time flying by so fast
You and I we’re sitting out there
Staring in each others eyes
The clock of time, the madness,
The noises from the cars,
In between there is some space for you and I

Low heavy smog that covers houses
People closing doors
You’re big green eyes asking questions
I’m feeling empty from my thoughts
The world around us out there
That doesn’t want to stop
It gives us place; it gives us peace for you and I

And in this life together we’ll keep on going strong,
Sweet memories created on such a curvy road,
It’s the love we share, it’s the stories, it’s the laugh,
There will always be a place for you and I

To you the years they pass way too fast
To me most days are long
I feel scared sometimes but hopeful
You feel fading, you feel slow
Though we’re not perfect
Though we’re so black and white
There is still that love inside of you and I

I sometimes wished I’d change my habits, to be more like you,
To be prouder of myself
You’re just going with the flow
If we just stop a moment, think of all the time that pass
We’ll see how lucky we have been both you and I

And in this life together we’ll keep on going strong,
Sweet memories created on such a curvy road,
It’s the love we share, it’s the stories, it’s the laugh,
There will always be a place for you and I

And we’ll keep going on keep going on
We’ll keep going strong we’ll always be strong
If you’ll walk that road with me, I promise you’ll see
It will be worth it for you, it will be worth it for me

And in this life together we’ll keep on going strong,
Sweet memories created on such a curvy road,
It’s the love we share, it’s the stories, it’s the laugh,
There will always be a place for you and I

Everything About You

Written By: Jack H. Trudel

Performed by Keren Gaiser

You ask me why I love you
And I’m somewhat caught off guard
The question may seem easy
But the answer can be hard
I’ll always be true
Each and every day
But just so you know
Let me count the ways

It’s your eyes, your lips
Your voice, your kiss
It’s your heart, your smile
Your touch, your style
I love everything about you
I do

Sometimes those three little words
Leaves my tongue tied up in knots
Although I trust my feelings
I’m still trapped within my thoughts
I’ll always love you
More than words can say
But just so you know…just so you know
Let me count the ways

It’s your eyes, your lips
Your voice, your kiss
It’s your heart, your smile
Your touch, your style
I love everything about you
I do

So many times...my heart has been misled
It seemed so right and yet so wrong
So many times...my thoughts were left unsaid
But that changed when you came along

It’s your laugh, your tears
Your mind, your fears
It’s your heart, your smile
Your touch, your style
I love everything about you
Everything about you
Everything about you
I do

Into The Great Unknown

Written By: Jack H. Trudel

Performed by Keren Gaiser

I was living with chains and locks
Never thinking outside the box
Or looking at the other side
I watched as my life unraveled
Then I took the road less traveled
And learned to swim against the tide

As long as you’re getting where you’re going
Sometimes it’s even better not knowing
Until you find where you belong

I’m heading out…into the great unknown
I’m moving on…beyond my comfort zone
And I don’t care…if I’m all alone
As long as I’m somewhere…out there on my own
Into the great unknown

I was living for someone else
Instead of just being myself
As if I almost sold my soul
I looked in the rear view mirror
And the future appeared clearer
When I finally took control

All it takes is a little persistence
To weather the storm and go the distance
Until you find where you belong

I’m heading out…into the great unknown
I’m moving on…beyond my comfort zone
And I don’t care…if I’m all alone
As long as I’m somewhere…out there on my own
Into the great unknown

So just follow a path of your choosing
No matter if you’re winning or losing
Until you find where you belong

I’m heading out…into the great unknown
I’m moving on…beyond my comfort zone
And I don’t care…if I’m all alone
As long as I’m somewhere…out there on my own
Into the great unknown
Into the great unknown
