Fort Lauderdale, FL United States of America April 5 – Emerging recording artist, Kerrie Comilla, officially releases her debut album “Will Not Fall”. This 11 song collection is a beautiful compilation of all original music. This project delves deep into the heart of your soul as Kerrie brings emotion and strength to every melody.
“Will not Fall” is considered a pop album, but it is not your “bubble gum “ type of music. Instead, it is a sophisticated, touching and melodic collection of music that captures your heart and makes the listener want to sing out loud. You will not believe that all of this original music could be placed on to one captivating album. This is the start of a new genre of music, since it definitely takes pop music to a new plateau.
“Will Not Fall is one of my favorite songs on the album and this reflects how I have put my heart and soul into this album and have decided that I will not fall, no matter what” says Kerrie about the cover track to the album. “Even though some may read the song as a struggle between lovers, I always thought of it as my anthem”.
In Kerrie’s vocal performances, you will find yourself transported into a world of emotions. Every song on this album is a masterpiece of eloquent words and haunting tracks. In the classic song “Leaving Tomorrow”, the listener will feel instantly nostalgic about the vibrant colors this song portrays. “Singing this song hit me so emotionally, thinking of how hard it is to miss my family and my lover, having to travel back and forth to record the album”, says Ms. Comilla.
John Million of “Million Sounds Studios” produced and shaped this album to have a unique feel and sound like no other album in the market today. “It is old fashioned in parts, but there is a modern, new freshness to all of the orchestration and rhythmic beats”, says Mr. Million. “Kerrie’s incredible vocals make some of the phrasing border on the blues while still keeping with the current sounds of 2012”.

Kerrie L. Comilla is a 25-year-old vocal artist who has recently signed with Million Sounds Studios. This Michigan native has made her current home the city of Chicago. With the drive and love for music, this talented singer has performed at over 20 well known venues in the cities of Detroit, Chicago and Las Vegas.
Comilla started singing at an early age. She found her love for music even earlier. Being of Mexican and Sicilian descent, music seemed to be all around her growing up. She was classically trained for 2 years, but she just simply couldn't stay away from genres such as Blues, Jazz, and R&B. She started exploring these genres more and at the tender age of nine, she fell in love with some of the greats - Billie Holiday, Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Chaka Khan. And while these great singers are the soul of Kerrie's expression, she is also hip with today's artists such as Beyonce, Adele, and Mariah. You will hear a mix of these artists in her interpretive vocals, making her style a new genre of pop music
