Kerry Lee Lamont Simmons, known as a kerry lee, was born and raise in Denmark, South Carolina.
Preaching The Gospel in hip hop music was never a dream of his. kerry lee grew up in an environment where sex, women, drinking, and smoking was the norm.
During his college years, kerry lee met and married his wife, April who"s love brought him to christ . kerry lee went in jail a few times at the age 0f 18 he indure pain and trials with hiself and marrige.
God placed an immediate passion for music in Kerry Lee.
He began by listening to Christian hip hop and decided to record his own music which led to kerry lee first album entitled, Drop the world which landed him a record deal with tatemusic group.kerry now live in timmonsville sc with his wife and three kids . He a member of jireth pentecostal hoilness church where caludia askins is the pastor.
