Keturah Brown

Keturah was born and rasied in Memphis, Tn. She taught herself how to play the guitar at the age of 12. After learning and perfecting her power chords she started writing her own music. Soon, after following influences such as Alexz Johnson and Alana Grace, she started writing meaning alternative lyrics that still had a catchy pop feeling to it.
Moving on and begining to learn the piano her sound again broaden as she began to compose music on the piano as well. She wrote moving ballads that told stories and that reached her soul. By the time she had graduated high school, she had performed at varies venues such as; coffees house, local talent shows, and even the Mid-South Fair.
Following some of her favorite artists like Katy Perry, she just did a live un-plugged acoustic show entitled, "A girl and her Guitar" at a local theatre called Out Front On Main not far from Nashville, TN. Getting more attention in her local area she continued to play random pick-up shows with fellow musicians and at Open-mics. Her most popular songs to date would be, originals: "I Know Blue", "Gone" "Break In", "A little too not over you" and covers: "Use Somebody" - Kings of Leon and "Paparazzi" - Lady Gaga
