Bio
Kevin N Jennifer were married on April 5th
2013. Jennifer just gave birth to their first son on December 5th 2013,
Toby Michael Street, who came 7 weeks early and spent 20 days in the
NICU. Toby came home December 25th. During the time in NICU God sure
shined HIS LOVE and POWER each day. Toby is doing great thanks to alot
of prayers from all of our true friends and family. Kevin N Jennifer
would like to thank all the folks at Guiding Light Baptist Church in
Longview NC, and Carolene Congregational Holiness Church for all their
love and support through it all.
Jennifer started at age 8 playing piano and
autoharp with her peepaw Pete in a bluegrass gospel band. Since that
time she has continued to be a part of that group and still performs in
her family band The Tallent Family (www.tallentfamily.com) She now sings
lead on most all songs of this duet. She also plays piano. She is the
mother of three children, Ashley, Trevor, and Toby. She is the step
mother to Luke. She loves The Lord with all her heart, and wants to
share with everyone that ALL things work together for good to those who
love God and who are called according to His purpose.
Kevin got a later start at age 15, singing
and playing guitar for the Dove award nominees The Far City Boys. He was
the lead singer for The Far City Boys from 1995 until November 2011
when The Far City Boys decided it was time to move on for everyone.
Kevin,with the help of Mike Upright, released a Solo Country Gospel CD
called God's Still Been Good in 2011. You can purchase that cd at
www.cdbaby.com. Kevin will also be the first to tell you he is not
perfect but GOD IS! His heart is for all the folks that feel hopeless
within themselves, to know GOD LOVES THEM! Kevin sings lead and harmony
in this duet. Kevin got saved in late 2000 after a long hard road living
for the devil. Kevin says God came and got him out of a (MESS). Kevin
says he has not always made the right choices in life and is not what he
needs to be, but GOD is molding and making him everyday.
