BandCountryAcoustic

Kevin plays a mix of Acoustic/Country/Folk based music that has been praised by crowds of all genre/orientation. He was recently dubbed "The Sultan of Sad" by a fan at a recent showcase.

Biography

Kevin was born and grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago. He started writing songs in his early teens and formed his first band in High School.

In the early to mid-seventies, Kevin fronted a band called “Flashback” (a 50’s, 60’s, 70,s cover band with a splash of Elvis) and they spent 4 years touring the mid-west.

In 1976, Kevin headed west and landed in Southern California, his first album “Destiny” was released in 1988 and, though it was well received, he left performing and the music world in general to concentrate on domestic responsibilities.

It wasn’t long before Kevin felt the need to perform again and many people will recognize Kevin from his community theater appearances as well as some of the “feature film and TV extra” work he has done over the years.

This latest CD is a culmination of several years of writing and experiencing life in this crazy world we all reside in.

Kevin likes to say “I’m just a singer/songwriter who plays a little guitar”. Well, as most can tell, he’s much more than that and while he can’t really be categorized, one thing is clear…..he knows how to get passion and emotion into a song and out of his audience. (Tate Music Publishing-2009)
