Inspired by tragedy, hope and transformation, the music and lyrics of the Kevin Ker Trio invoke the deepest emotions in listeners. The soon to be released E.P. features a selection of songs written over the past few years. The Trio is comprised of Kevin Ker on Guitar and Vocals, Bassist, Karl Williaume (Stabilo) and Drummer, Justin Dillon (Perkins). The music of the Kevin Ker Trio has been compared to the likes of John Mayer, Dave Matthews and fellow Canadian Matt Good and they have been captivating new fans with each performance. Kevin Ker established himself as a profound and exceptional songwriter with the Toronto based outfit "Endeavour" in 2002. After two full length releases, a Canadian tour and sharing the stage with Three Days Grace, Default, Ill Scarlet, Sum 41, Theory of a Deadman and many more the band dispersed in early 2005. Kevin kept busy writing, preparing and recording songs for his first solo release as well as establishing a new project with drummer Shawn Royal (Endeavour) this project would ultimately become known as "The Silenced" The first and only E.P. from "The Silenced" was released live from Edge 102 Studios on February 25th 2006. With the completion of The Silenced Project Kevin Ker fully immersed himself both emotionally and physically in what is already being hailed as his most artistic work to date. With an expected release date of November 2008, the first E.P promises to be a welcome progression in the songwriting and craft that has become expected of Kevin Ker.
