The best kept secret in music

"Revue #1"

Kevin Mark is a fine singer and a stylish guitarist, and he has a superbly swinging band with a killer three-piece horn section (all saxes!). - Blues Revue Magazine

"Revue #2"

Kevin Mark is a powerhouse baritone blues shouter, with a guitar style to match. Rolling The Dice is a highly impressive slab of 50s/60s R&B. - Blues In Britain Magazine

"Revue #3"

Kevin's no longer on the cusp of greatness - he's clearly arrived, and his sophomore outing is one of the best indie recordings to come down the pipe in a good while - this one gets my highest recommendation! - Blues On Stage

"Revue #4"

This band has a kick-ass sound that owes as much to the jump blues tradition as it does to the Chicago blues idiom. Working the audience is what the band's especially good at. - Maple Blues Magazine

It's impossible not to dance when they let loose with their smoking swing-style blues. - CBC Galaxie Canada

"Revue #6"

Big man, big band, big sound, big blues. - These Tunes .Com

Rolling The Dice (2004)

Feeling a bit camera shy

Without a doubt one of Canada's top blues entertainers, Kevin Mark consistently delivers the goods night after night. His exceptional stage presence combined with his energetic sidemen is the perfect recipe for a swingin' party!

The band's awards and nominations speak for themselves: Winner of the 2006 Lys Blues Award for Male Artist of The Year. Winner of three consecutive Lys Blues Awards for Live Show of The Year (2004, 2005 and 2006). Winner of the 2001 Maple Blues Award for Best New Artist. Winner of the 2001 Toronto Blues Society National Talent Search... and the list goes on.

Kevin's sophomore release, "Rolling The Dice" has garnered glowing reviews world-wide. Produced by Canadian blues legend Jack de Keyzer, the complete album was recorded live off the floor by Alec Fraser at his famed Liquid Toronto studio.

The CD features thirteen great swingin' and drivin' blues tunes - eleven of which are Kevin Mark originals. Special guest Michael Fonfara (Downchild
Blues Band) takes the piano seat throughout, making this album essential for all blues fans.

A long-anticipated follow up to "Rolling The Dice" is currently underway and will be launched in May of 2007.

Want more? Check the band out live. Their repertoire will take you on a road trip from the West Coast, through Memphis and up to Chicago while always maintaining their own unique sound and style of good 'ole finger snappin', toe tappin' blues - the way it was meant to be played.
