Bio

Charismatic vocalist/keyboardist, Kevin Reeves, blends an electrifying combination of strong pop hooks with the sonic theatrics of such greats as Elo, Queen,
10 CC, etc to create a performance that is passionate and breathtaking. His musical journey has been an amalgamation of many styles, each day bringing new forms of artistic expression.

As an infant, he was diagnosed with Optic Nerve Atrophy, a condition, which caused him to be totally blind. This visual
impairment did not negatively affect his young life. Kevin’s early childhood was met with total inclusion into the sighted world around him. He began to explore his musical world with an upright piano that his parents purchased when he was 4 years of age. He was known to plunk away for hours, experimenting with note combinations, until finally beginning to discover chords. Throughout highschool and college, Kevin honed his skills as a composer, singer, performer, and studio session player. It was near the end of his College journey that he began to really dig down and open up as a songwriter. In 2006, he released his debut album, "It's About Time," which was well received by fans, podcasters, and internet radio hosts world wide. The line that Reeves walks as a composer and songwriter is a thin one. "It's tough," states reeves. "I love music that is highly composed and very deliberate. I love to get a glimpse into the mind of a composer through their music, knowing that each note, chord, and phrase were painstakingly crafted. Songwriting, however, is another animal all together. The song is more about communicating an emotion through the carefully crafted choreography of lyric and song." It's the combination of the 2 concepts that Kevin strives to bring forth in his music.

Reeves is currently working on his follow-up album entitled "Headspace, slated for an early summer release.
