Award-winning composer Kevin Saunders Hayes is a study in contrasts – a classically trained musician, and a product of London’s rock scene - Hayes is as comfortable in front of a stack of guitar amplifiers as he is conducting a symphony orchestra.
A veteran of more than 40 feature films, Hayes has written, performed and produced the scores and title songs for the Academy Award® Nominated "Mighty Times - The Legacy of Rosa Parks", and the Academy Award® Semi-Finalist "Rock The Boat".
Hayes has applied this talent to hundreds of hours of music for television and thousands of national commercials and jingles for every product and brand name imaginable (Please see Website for complete list of credits).
In addition to his film and television work, Hayes has written 16 stage musicals including, “Toxic Avenger–The Musical” which had its world premiere in Omaha’s The Blue Barn Theatre, and "Einstein's Dreams" scheduled to make it's WORLD PREMIRE in March 2006 at The Prince Music Theater, Philadelphia.
Hayes is also the creator of VOX LUMIERE, a unique live performance combining original rock-operatic music, theatre and silent film. VOX LUMIERE has performed in both Europe and the United States, and was honored by the Cinematheque Francaise with a special invitation to perform in Paris.
