Surrounded by various music genres and being influenced by his musical Caribbean family, KevO Star, a Brooklyn born hip-hop artists, is ready to join the evolution of hip-hop and introduce his music to the world. “A well-rounded entertainer� KevO Star defines himself. KevO Star’s unique talents have captured the attention of well-known tastemakers and have opened many doors within various areas of entertainment.

In 2003, KevO Star toured and became the main dancer of two of the most respected artists within the reggae genre, Elephant Man and Sasha, which he also did some choreography for. KevO Star’s broad talents also led him to the runaway. Modeling clothes for some of the most famous brands around the nation, such as, Sean John, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, as well as modeling for Riddim Driven, a VP Records inspired line, and Evisu, as well as acting in a number of commercials and Independent films.

Besides his music interest, growing up, KevO Star was much into sports and academics. In High School, KevO Star was an all-star and graduated with honors, which led him to a basketball and full academic scholarship to St. Johns University and various Ivy League schools. Despite his musical and athletic abilities, due to family values, KevO Star decided to pursue his academic studies in order to fulfill his mother and godmother’s dreams of becoming a Lawyer, “At the time I did not know what I wanted to do, I was just following orders� KevO Star explains. Therefore, KevO Star decided to major in Intellectual Property Law with a concentration in Entertainment Law at St. Johns University. Unfortunately, his refusal of playing basketball forfeited his sports scholarship.

While in college KevO Star kept his music dreams alive by attending musical events and becoming a choreographer for local groups. After completing his studies he finally decided to pursue what made him happy, “ Music has always been my passion�. Even though basketball and law could have probably given him a brighter future, his love for music remained an ever present and constants inspirational factor in his life.

Today KevO Star’s vision is to be in a successful position in entertainment in general, from being an artist to having endorsements and being in movies, Unquestionably, tapping into all aspects of the industry. There’s definitely not a doubt that with his unique yet versatile lyrical ability and his high level of energy, he is here to entertain the masses. Right now KevO Star is on top of the food chain.

So what is next for KevO Star? With his career already blooming my best advice is to sit back and watch this star shine.
