Having met by chance, it was inevitable that Key Element would come to be... International Manager and Promoter, Kenneth Roy of Seatown Promotions, had always been aware of Billboard Chart Topper, Tony-O (Formally with the hit single P.H.D.), from working with big names like Dwayne Wiggins, Kid Frost, Thug Life & E-40, and when he came across “Rook” an undiscovered voice, now known to be “The Black Latin Lover from Chi-Town”, he knew immediately that the two must meet! From that introduction alone, followed the union of “e-Boog” (a long time friend of Rook), & “The Mid-West Playa” (The Cousin of Tony-O).This created a sound that has been quoted as, “Incredible”! A fusion of Funk, Hip Hop, Soul & Old School.
Drawing the attention of many, including Bobby Smith, the Lead Singer of The Spinners. Key Element hopes to host future collaborations with George Clinton, Kanye West, Common, DMX and many other artists they hold in great respect. Music is their life! Embracing R& B and Funk Fundamentals, Spoken Word and Rap, this group has what it takes to go mainstream! Key Element consists of Producers, Song Writers & Lovers of the Art, and they take their craft and creative gifts to heart & they truly bring that passion to the stage!
Coming from the production house of Direct Supply Entertainment with their Hit Single “Blow Your Back Out”, off their Debut Album The Key Element Project, requested in clubs around the world, they force their listeners to put the play back into word play & the imagination back into metaphors.
